The Class of 2009

October 25, 2009

The final graduating class of this decade have had their final official week at BCC. While some will go on and sit their TEE, others will be working, traveling or just contemplating what the future may hold.

Last week a couple of events took place in honour of this graduating class; the first, the final year 12 assembly, was a special moment where the class could proudly sit before the college and be honoured by the school community. Speeches were made, gifts were handed out and awards were… well…. awarded.

The second event, the annual Year 12 Breakfast, took place on Friday morning. The breakfast, a tradition now at BCC, went quite smoothly and all students and staff who attended enjoyed themselves.

As BCC says goodbye to its new graduates, we not only congratulate them all but we wish them all the best. We don’t wish them luck, because luck has nothing to do with it, but we hope all the best in the world for each and every one. We hope that they make the right decisions, and learn when they don’t. We hope that they lead, not follow the crowd. And we hope that they have all the happiness that they deserve in life.

Well done class of 2009 – you have made us proud.
