The Home Stretch

We are finally at that time of the year once again – Term 4. After a Spring Break filled with fantastic weather, all staff and students are back for the home stretch.

Term 4 is not just another term, however. It is significant for a number of reasons. First of all, it is the final time that year 12 students will be attending normal classes in 12 years of school. Week 1 is the final week for all year 12 students and for those sitting their TEE it will no doubt be a week filled with many last minute questions for their teachers.

For the year 11′s it will be business as usual right up until week 4 when they will be preparing for their end of year exams and thereafter will be finished for the year, ready to return in 2010 as seniors.

Our year 8′s are about to complete their first year of high school while the 9′s and 10′s, already veterans, will be working hard to complete and hand in any late work before the end of the year. They will also have the added bonus of being the ‘seniors’ of the school for the final 5 weeks of term as well.

So with that said, we welcome everyone back, all staff and students and we wish you all the best for these final weeks.
